While we wait for our logs to be delivered, Paul and I started to lay out the base of the wood oven to get an idea of its size and placement. The smaller, light colored bricks in the front will form the firebox. You'll see how the rest develops with many photos of the oven building process. We should have about 20 fir logs within the next couple of days, which will all need peeling and some milling. The next month will be very busy (and exciting).

the fun begins
While we wait for our logs to be delivered, Paul and I started to lay out the base of the wood oven to get an idea of its size and placement.
